Diplomatic Eclecticism
- The Edit of 2025
In every relationship, there is a need for diplomacy. In the Dusty Deco love story, this balance is at the heart of our style. Two strong wills, two distinct tastes, constantly negotiating, not just in work and design but also in life. This season is all about that tension - the diplomatic eclecticism.

Edin is drawn to metal furniture and glass tabletops, inspired by grand, airy apartments once belonging to painters, artists, and aristocrats. He thrives on the unexpected, embraces a touch of craziness, and is forever collecting art, or perhaps obsessing over it. Lina, on the other hand, gravitates toward textiles, rattan, ceramics, bohemian patterns, and the rich, cinematic worlds of Almodóvar. She finds beauty in cottages, charming townhouses, and walls worn by time. The magic of Dusty Deco is often found in this contrast, a curated mix of styles, always full of soul.

ROOTS OF INSPIRATION
Living in Palma is an endless source of inspiration. Lina is constantly surprised, not just by the sights, but by the way people think, act, and effortlessly combine things. Their outfits, their homes, the way they choose colors for their walls, or the unplanned, almost chaotic layers of the city itself, a '70s house standing boldly beside an ancient church, pink tiles taking over a bathroom in the most Wes Anderson way. Meanwhile, Edin is always traveling, not just physically but in his imagination. His world expands through what he reads, the artists he connects with across the globe, the pieces he hunts for, the films we watch, and the ever-evolving dreams we share.

THE DUSTY AESTHETIC
This constant push and pull, these opposing influences, fuel our creative process. When we lived and worked only in Stockholm, things felt more rigid, here, we take risks, we stay open. We rarely agree, but it is in that friction that the Dusty Deco aesthetic is born. A dash of boho, a splash of eclectic mid-century, all brought together with a tiled rug, a sculptural piece, and the warm Mediterranean light. That is Dusty Deco for you.
